Printing Process

We give all sizes of companies the abilities to have a professional image with full color marketing material.  We are pleased to announce the arrival of the next step in full-color printing for the retail and wholesale customer. With our complete printing facility, we are taking the industry to new levels of production, customer service and turnaround.

EvoLabs has designed a system with every type of customer in mind. We can handle anything that you create on your computer. Any document format; any digital image format. If it’s on your computer, we can print it.

EvoLabs offers a full digital, stochastic printing process at economical prices. From the moment you send us your digital files over the internet, our cutting edge computers kick into a lightning-speed formatting process. With calculated precision, your files are quickly formatted, prepared, and streamed directly to our platemaker, where they are digitally exposed onto metal plates with precision lasers.

With EvoLabs, every stage of the printing process is monitored and maintained digitally. Even the ink levels on our presses are determined by specialized computers in our pre-press department, ensuring precise color density setups for color matching accuracy. This means that you can count on us for the highest possible levels of precision, speed, and quality for any type of printing need that you have.

Production
Anchored by multiple full-color presses with in-line aqueous gloss coaters, our facility includes digital cutting stations, folders, stitchers and die-cutting equipment as well. Additionally, our direct-to-plate technology eliminates the time and cost involved with conventional negative stripping and insures the integrity of your graphics.

Turnaround
For cost efficiencies, we offer a 5-7 business day turnaround time.  However, we can achieve a 48 hour turnaround for extra costs.  That being said, when compared to our competitors, our prices for the same quality product and speed are almost always lower.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does 48 hour turnaround mean?
All complete jobs (art and payment) received before 7am Mountain will be ready 48 hours (2 business days) later. For example, if we receive your art and payment at 7am on Tuesday, your order will be ready at just about 7am on Thursday.

What shipping options do I have?
UPS, Fedex, and US Postal Service are the most commonly used shippers. If you have questions call us and we’ll work with you to get your order to you in a cost effective and timely manner.

What payment options are available?
Due to our quick turnaround, all orders must be prepaid. Please utilize our secure Paypal link at the bottom of our Products and Services page to make payments.  Also, we accept checks or money orders, please overnight them to us. Most of our customers use the Post Office’s Express Mail for this.

Why are our prices so low?
Because we are a “gang run” style print company, we are able to offer lower prices than our competition. We print the day’s orders on a massive sheet and cut the jobs apart in order to reduce the costs of making plates and other fixed setup charges. Your job needs special attention? No problem! We can do extras such as perforations, folding, scoring, binding, die-cutting, 5th (and 6th) colors, and more!

What do you print?
In short, we print EVERYTHING—paper and almost all other promotional products. Some of our clients use our printing services for: Promotional Brochures, Event Flyers, Restaurant Menus, Realtor Postcards, Tickets, Handbills, Clothing Tags, Business Cards, Posters, Point of Sale Signage, Photo Reproduction, Zed Cards, Instruction Booklets, Monthly Periodicals, Tri-Folds, Record Flats, and More!

How can I send you a Print Job?
You can upload your work immediately via email or FTP . If you are unsure of how to use our online system, you can call us and a sales rep will help you get started!

Can you print jobs that are different sizes than you have listed?
Yes we can! Choose the size closest to your art when ordering. For custom orders, please email us with your request and we’ll get back to you with a custom price.

How do I order multiple items?
Place a separate order for each piece you want printed. For example, if you want 2 different postcards, then place 2 separate orders. The price for 5,000 of one postcard is not the same as the price for 2,500 each of 2 different brochures.

What kind of paper do you use?
All postcards and business cards are printed on 16 point card stock with an aqueous coating, unless the job specifications call for a different stock.

How long will it take to get my order delivered to me?
Your order will ship 2 business days after it is submitted and paid for. UPS Ground shipping takes from 1 to 5 business days depending on your distance from our facility.

What file formats are accepted.
We accept any Mac or PC rasterized file format. This includes tiffs, jpegs, flattened psds, flattened pdfs, and eps. If you are going to send an eps, please convert all fonts to curves or outlines.

Is there an extra charge for bleeds?
No. Unlike many other companies, all our prices include full bleeds free of charge. The bleeds should be 1/8″ all around.

How long will it take to upload my files?
Uploading may take a very long time depending on your connection speed. You can check the bottom of your browser for a status bar.

Should I do anything special if I’m on AOL?
If you use America Online, you should be aware that AOL can limit your inactivity on the web and disconnect you if you are not a current, active user. Uploading files appears to be inactivity to AOL. It is recommended that you keep your AOL email account open at the same time you are uploading your files. This can trick AOL programming into thinking you are still active on the Internet, thereby preventing the possibility of getting disconnected during your file upload.
